Alot of shots from Rosi and Andres' wedding in Antigua, Guatemala. It was a most elegant affair, marred by alcohol, bad conga dancing, and other misbehavior. But hey, isn't that what's supposed to happen at these things? ;) Captions will be added soon.

About a week after I got back from Guatemala, an injury I had on my leg flared up into a nasty infection. I had gotten the injury about 2 weeks before when my leg went through a rotten floorboard at a busy nightspot in Bocas. Anyway, the infection was so bad, that I had to go to a hospital for 6 days to get major antibiotics. Here are some shots from that ordeal. Captions have been added.

So for a week in July, Mitzy (of the GC Gang), came down and we hit the road in a rental car through Panama. It was a great trip that took us through David, Boquete, Boca Chica and Boca Brava, Chitre' and of course, Panama City. It was a great way to see this country, which surprised me in many ways. So I'm on the way back to Panama from my stateside visit. Mitzy tells me she won a trip to Costa Rica from a Taca promotion and tells me she can meet me there. And, she tells me she has a surprise. Well, the surprise was, two days whitewater rafting! It was a great time. It was nice to see a non-gringo-ized part of Costa Rica too for a change. Captions and info to follow.

There was a fun bash in town at the Sundog Cafe (oh, sorry, 'The Dead Dog Cafe' that night! =) ). It was a great turnout and good fun was had by all. Sjelle (aka the mummy) had a few too many of those adrenaline shots, and paid dearly for them... boowooowaahhhahaahaa

Here are some photos of our final days in the Rio, getting Sjelle's boat moved and settled, and then of the sail over to Honduras. This was a hellacious sail in 30+ knot winds and 8-10 foot seas, and rain, rain and more rain! I was glad when it was all over. Captions to follow.

Despite a horrible first day in Honduras (we all got held up on the bus back from San Pedro Sula), Miguel and Arcelia stuck it out and we ended up having a good 4 days' worth of sailing the Bay Islands on Andiamo.

Just a few pics of another Christmas in the Caribbean. =) This time, in Roatan's south side in a place called Jonesville. We managed to get there just in time before some serious coldfront weather blew by. Our Rio Dulce pals, Aaron and Lila from "Blow Me Away", and Sonny and Kay from "Valentina" were there, so it was nice Xmas day dinner with friends at the Hole in the Wall.

So, I couldn't leave well enough alone, and Moni and the rest of the Utila gang talked me into staying in Utila for my birthday. Needless to say, in the grand tradition, there was MUCH partying done, a pinata again, and believe it or not, NITROUS OXIDE BALLOONS!!! Hadn't done those in decades. Good, wholesome family fun! That's right, after more than 2 weeks of sailing, fishing, partying, and various spontaneous boat repairs, Andiamo arrives to its new hurricane season home of Panama! And with some great luck and impeccable timing, I managed to meet up with Lisa (crazy ex-lawyer from Ohio) for some hijinks on our second night. Oh yeah, and Sarah and Jenni went swimming naked off the bar's dock. Classic... :)
